Zune was a bit of a disappointment really. In the weeks up until its unveiling, the world (well, Internet forums) was ablaze with millions of people (a few) predicting that Microsoft was set to throw its giant hat into the handheld gaming ring. Unfortunately the reality was an MP3-player that's pretty much like an iPod.
However, in a move that could quell some of that initial disappointment, Microsoft Executive Peter Moore has revealed you'll be playing games on Zune next year. Arguing that the Zune's screen will be better adapted to gaming than the iPod's, Moore went on to enthuse: "I love the interface, I love the screen." Although he didn't confirm what kind of games you'll be able to play, he did say that Microsoft will start releasing titles within 18 months.
