X06: Microsoft Is Packing

At Microsoft's X06, Bill Gates' videogame division showed off a wealth of first- and second-party games ranging from Mass Effect to Viva Pinata, but perhaps more telling of the burgeoning system's growing success was the plethora of substantial third-party titles.

Unlike the early Xbox, the Xbox 360 commands solid third-party support from American, European, and Japanese developers and publishers. In playable form at the show, these games appeared:

* Dance Dance Universe
* LEGO Star Wars II
* Bionicles
* Open Season
* Virtua Tennis 3
* Sonic the Hedgehog

* Rainbow Six Vegas
* Tiger Woods PGA Tour
* FIFA Soccer 07
* NHL 07
* NBA Live 07
* Need for Speed Carbon
* Superman Returns
* Half-Life 2
* Portal
* Import Tuner Challenge
* Battlestations: Midway
* Tony Hawk's Project 8
* Marvel Ultimate Alliance
* World Snooker Champion 2007
* Winning Eleven Pro Evolution 2007
* Phantasy Star
* The Darkness
* Dead or Alive Xtreme 2
* Cars
* Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Playable first- and second-party games:

* Viva Pinata
* Shadow Run
* Gears of War
* Crackdown
* Forza 2

Xbox Live Arcade games:

* Defender
* Small Arms
* Ultimate Mortal Kombat
* Gyruss
* Totem Ball
* Murtant Storm Empire
* Assault Heroes
* Heavy Weapon
* Alhambra
* Sensible Soccer 07

# PC games:Microsoft Flight Simulator

* Lord of the Rings Online
* Hellgate
* Neverwinter Nights

* Halo 2 Vista
* Shadow Run
* Age of Empires

Non-playable Games:

* BioShock
* Mass Effect
* Fable 2
* Alan Wake
* Alone in the Dark
* Assassin's Creed

* Too Human did not make an appearance at the show.

I have a big smile on my face when I saw this listing, I just wanted to SCREAM OUT!!! With great excitement I have. I just really hope everything turns out well. Like I'm not looking forward to much on the PC Games, because it is so hard for me to keep up with the up to date Graphic Cards and keep it maintaing. But the I have to say I like this Windows and Xbox combination together that Mcrosoft is doing. So It is going to be fun for myself as a Console Gamer going head to head with a PC Gamer.
