Sony Europe says 20gig not enough
Sony Computer Entertainment America will introduce a 80GB PlayStation 3 SKU next month, but don't expect that to arrive in Europe. David Reeves, the head of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and the same guy who leaked news that the 60GB SKU is on the way out, said the extra 20GB wasn't enough incentive for consumers.
"You know, the difference between 60 and 80GB is very small," he said. "We just feel that going up 20GB is not worth it; if you're going to double it, it's worth it, so maybe you'll see something a little bit later, but 60 and 80 -- [there's] really not that much difference."
Well I'm surprise as well that Sony is only putting out there 20gigs more. Which I will suggest this if you want to buy a PS3 buy the 60gig version now. For $100.00 cheaper and eventually when you start running out of space you could just purchase a harddrive and upgrade it yourself. Sony is giving you that change.
That is my advice!
