Rumor: Nintendo of America Leaving Seattle

New York and San Francisco allegedly targets.

Nintendo and Microsoft have been campus buddies in Seattle, but Nintendo may be looking for some new digs, as Game Informer’s posted a rumor that Nintendo of America employees have been told the company is relocating as early as this fall. Current employees apparently have to decide whether they’ll move by June 1.

As the website points out, Nintendo of America was originally formed in New York City. Employees who decide to pass on moving will receive a severance package in return.

Nintendo of America has yet to respond to requests for comment — stay tuned.
