RE4 Wii, Umbrella Chronicles Websites Open
Earlier this week, the pages of Famitsu confirmed rumors that Capcom was tweaking Resident Evil 4 for a Wii release and we discovered Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is actually an on-rails shooter. While official announcements from Capcom USA are still a little off, the company's Japanese branch has already launched official websites for both games, giving us a little more insight into these upcoming Wii releases.
Capcom's already outlined the controls on the website for Resident Evil 4, too, though we're still waiting for a translation of how everything breaks down. You can guess the basics -- the nunchuck will handle movement of Leon, while the remote handles the tricky part of aiming. Getting headshots should be a whole lot easier this time around.
As for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Capcom's revealed far less, but there is a 30-second clip available on the website, showing a little bit of gameplay and a whole lot of pre-rendered cut scenes. We do see glances of some old favorites that haven't been a part of the series for a couple of years, though, and hopefully we'll know more about Umbrella Chronicles in the coming weeks.
