PSU Pricing Revealed
SEGA finally sent out word on their pricing for the upcoming online RPG Phantasy Star Universe for the US. The Guardians license, which is what you'll need to take the game into the expansive and persistent online world, will be available for purchase on October 24, 2006 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PC online users for $9.99. Those playing on the PlayStation 2 and PC can also purchase a six month license for $49.99 to save some money.
Although the game will cost 10 dollars more on Xbox 360 with an MSRP of $59.99
Phantasy Star Universe will ship on October 24, 2006 for PlayStation 2, PC and Xbox 360 and is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.
Well all I have to say is Sega has brought me back to the good old days with PSO for the Sega Dreamcast. Also with a new console and much more better graphics this world is amazing great color and the gameplay has not changed at all.
You could see with the next-gen consoles that there is so much more you could do with the game then just buy items, weapons, armor and complete missions for lvl up. You could see Sega could add so much more to it and make the game more longer in quests and missions.
As I know so far from playing the Beta is that I have not figured out the Story to this which I'm interested in knowing about and seeing whats up with this world. Also as from what I've seen in PSO on the Dreamcast the worlds and towns are bigger and more to do and interact. So I hope Sega could make this a much more and appealing game. Because with PSO with putting in countless hours into it, I got bored very quickly because all I kept on seeing was the same Lobby and World. So my game play experience didn't last to long. Also like the feature of Voice Chat in the parties to make the servers run so much better. So this game is shaping up to be a good one. Especially for the big Phantasy Star fans out there like myself. I just hope though that Sega could do some add-ons to make the game more appealing and have a replay value just like FFXI and the major online games out there. Also the beta is ending October 18 so if you will like to check out the game for yourself, check it out! Don't waste this opportunity Sega and Microsoft is doing for you.
I will have a complete review of the game when it is release and my first 10 hours I will put in the game. So you might want to check that out.
