Whether you're one of the many fans who was disappointed with Phantasy Star Universe or a hardcore Phantasy fan still logging hours every day, you should probably begin preparing for round two. PSO-World has unveiled scans from a recent issue of Famitsu wherein Ambition of Illuminus, the first Phantasy Star Universe expansion, is officially announced. The article includes specifics gleaned from the Japanese magazine on new weapon types, weapons, SUVs, Photon Arts, stages, enemies, clothing, and a new casino. Phew, that's a lot of stuff.
Apparently the article does not reveal if the expansion will have an offline/single-player story mode like the core game or if it will allow the transfer of existing accounts, but those seem to be likely features. The game will, of course, be coming to all of the platforms that the original PSU was found on: Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PC. More info as it becomes available!
