Halo 3 Details, New Rides, Weapons!

Yes, the new vehicles, new weapons and a Legendary edition that comes packaged with a Spartan helmet all make us giggle in anticipation of Halo 3, Bungie's upcoming epic sequel on the Xbox 360. But of all the new details swirling from multiple online sites today, it's the new Brutish Spike Grenade that has us trigger-happy. "Spike Grenade." We are not sure what it is, but the images it conjures in our minds mean that someone is going to get hurt. Hurt bad.

As revealed today on 1Up.com, in the December issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly Bungie will reveal a host of new gameplay details, as well as the news that Halo 3 will have not only a collector's edition but a legendary edition as well. Along with bonus DVDs of content, the package will come with a replica Spartan helmet. Starting to sweat? We haven't even started on the weapons.

The Brutes will be armed with Spike Grenades and Spike Rifles. The grenades are said to stick to walls and explode into a vicious blast of sharp projectiles. There's also word on a new Spartan Laser, a difficult-to-control but powerful attack that can disable vehicles in a single hit. Pwned!

The Mongoose will also be included, the two-man vehicle that was originally slated to be included in Halo 2. The Mongoose has no weapons, reportedly, and it is designed for speed. That doesn't mean the passenger can't wreak havoc with the newly designed assault rifle, though. Or maybe it does.

Halo 3 will obviously feature new multiplayer maps. New maps Valhalla, Snowbound and High Ground are being compared to Blood Gulch, Zanzibar and Frostbite, respectively. Halo and Halo 2 enabled 16 players to vie on System Link and Xbox Live, respectively. But we still don't know how many players will be able to jump online at one time. We're hoping Bungie has plans to compete with the PS3's Resistance and 40-player action. Just imagine.

In terms of control, the X button is said to change the way you play Halo. Mum is the word from Bungie. We only know that the bumpers are now used to reload, and the left bumper will reload a secondary weapon, if equipped.

There is also said to be a kind of cannon that will shoot players across the map. You can shoot enemies in the air and they can shoot you. This should put to work the new movie maker that allows you to capture clips of you shooting newbs in the head. We'll have more details on Halo 3 soon.

Finally!!!

I have finally got my machine back and updated the WAY i wanted it. Yes I have Ubuntu Linux Edgy installed on my machine and WOW what a painful experience I have had since the last time I posted a entry. It has been a really pain because WHY. So many people around the world was downloading Edgy and it was hard to get a great and fast connection. Also the servers I was trying to enter to get the update from kept on crashing or having so many errors in them, I had to reinstall my machine and format the hard drive about 4 to 5 times. What a pain! Now I know people that are reading this right now that have been using Linux or Ubuntu for awhile no must be saying. Why did he reinstall the OS and format his hard drive so many times. When he could have just did this.....

Well I'm new to the Linux world and there is only one way I know how to get things going back and is by formating and reinstalling the Ubuntu OS.

Other than that, I finally got it going and it was worth it. I have notice that the fonts and speed of the boot up have been really quick. Also Firefox has a new update which 2.0. I have not seen any other things yet. I will be playing with Edgy today and make sure I don't make any mistakes. Because I do not want to go through this again. Unless something really bad happens.

Well if you are a Ubuntu Linux fan, Please let me know send a comment or send me a email evazquez757@gmail.com and please let me know what you think of Ubuntu and if you have any ideas for new users like myself that could help me have a less painful experience in Linux please share them with me. Thank you all so much!!!

I will a hole bunch of gaming news updates today, I will be posting up a interesting quick story of my Party that I joined in this weekend in Final Fantasy XI!

Talk to you all later! Have a great Monday!

Sorry!

I have been very busy these past 4 days with one trying to get my computer running with the new Ubuntu Linux release which is going to be 6.10 Edgy. Now you might say well that is not going to be release till 26 of October which for me is tomorrow. But I figure even though it is a beta, This update that you could get right now should be stable enough and if there is any last minute updates tomorrow I could just download them. Now being that I'm new to Linux and so new with the terminal and Konsole concept, I'm having such a hard time getting things rolling. Which is really annoying me. Also I had to restart the hole Linux install of the Operating System about 3 times now. If better I cannot get my Screen Resolution correct or I just have a hard time getting things rolling. So it has been a really pain these past two days. So I have been working really hard to get it going so I could my machine back to normal and all updated with the new update. Also on top of that I have been really busy with work, which right now I currently work a new start-up search engine call ChaCha. You could check it out at ChaCha and when you first enter the site you going to say to yourself "Oh man it looks just like yahoo or google or any search engine out there" But you are wrong because yes it has the same concept of the major search engines out there but the cool and neat thing about is that you could ask to have a Searh Guide help you out which makes time so much better when you are looking for something, that will normally take a while to find on the net. Cause we all know that the Internet is hudge and so much is out there and all seperated apart it could take a very long time for you to find that site where you could have all of your information in. That's where myself and the other search guides come into place. Right now since I have been working I have been really enjoying myself with this job. It is a work at home job and you get paid daily, and payment could be done anyway. Which I also love.!!!! There is plent of information out there especially my next home which I visit on a daily basis and it is the forums which could be found at WAHM Forums and click on the Message Boards and scroll down to ChaCha and a good majority of the people that work as a Search Guide can be found there and thats where to go if you have any questions. Also if you will like to work as a Search Guide for Chacha, Please let me know I have some invites which with those invites I could get you into the door. Also if you are willing and serious about it, Please email me at evazquez757@gmail.com and let me know. This is no scam where you have to give out any personal information or pay any money up front. Just let me know and I give you any further information that you request or answer any questions you have. Well I be going to be off for a while and just keep a close eye on my machine and make sure I could get Ubuntu and all my updates square away. So I could come back and get back to my daily routine and posting up my intake on what is going on in the Internet and Gaming today. Talk to you all later. Hopefully in the next couple of hours I should have my first words of the new Edgy release update on Ubuntu. Talk to you all later and Bye for now!!

One great Saturday!

Saturday night has been great so far in the world of Vana d'iel because I finally found a good party to start to gain some EXP in the Dunes. Which so far I'm loving because each mob that will we kill we average abour 200 exp points. Which to me it is awesome. I'm pretty sure down the road in the game I will be saying the samething when I'm camping out there with another party.

But I finall joined a party and really wanted to take a screen shot of all of us. So check it out!!! This is us just chillin in the Dunes waiting for some mobs to come our way so we could take care of some work.

Chillin in the Dunes!!

I also began my Harvest Festival which so far has been great.

I got a witch Hat and a Coven Hat which I did'nt notice but it boost up my HP and MP to 3% which I found it very interesting because it made life a little easier in the Dunes. Now you must say WOW 3% this kid is such a noob. Well you are right I am a noob but my intake I think ever little thing counts especially when you dont have enough gil yet to be getting the high price armor.

Especially I'm new to this game I think I want to explorer as much items as I can.

Well I also took some screen shots of me wearing some customs. So I will post them up later in the day.

Well I talk to you all later and it is back to FFXI for right now.

So far I have been playing 12 hours stright and right now decided to take a break and get some Coffee and donuts and write up this post. Talk to you all later!!!

Lumines Springs to Live

Lumines has been released for the Xbox 360 and can be found in the Marketplace section on your Xbox 360 dashboard. I have downloaded the trial version to just get a glance at the 360 version. Which by the way I was a big fan of the Sony PSP version.

The original Lumines was considered one of the best reasons to buy a PSP when it launched with Sony's handheld in spring 2005. Now Xbox Live is getting its own version of the music-puzzle game from the makers of Meteos. Battle your friends online, get creative with the Skin Edit Mode, and utilize downloadable content for more skins, puzzles, and songs

Xbox 360 launches in India and South Africa.

At X06 in late September Microsoft made a special note about its global initiative: The Xbox 360 will hit countries that have never seen a console on their shores before.

While the announcement isn't new, Microsoft's console launches in India and South Africa are impressive. The company has traveled extensively to launch its system in countries besides Europe, Japan and North America. Recent launches include New Delhi, India and Johannesburg, South Africa. By year's end, the system will be in the markets of 36 countries, which is more countries than any console has been launched in a single year

The Ultimate Faceplate

Microsoft and Tecmo generated a whole lot of controversy following the announcement of a life-size inflatable Kasumi cushion that was bundled with special Dead or Alive Ultimate Xbox bundles. Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 fans won't be getting anything nearly as wild, but they will have a chance to make their 360 look a whole lot more attractive.

Tecmo will release a special Xbox 360 faceplate to coincide with the 11/22 Japanese release of DOAX2. The faceplate, which features Kasumi in a two-piece, will retail for 3,000 yen and will be sold through the Tecmo Online Shop and videogame outlets throughout Japan

The new E3 date and locations

The revamped Electronic Entertainment Expo will be held July 11-13, 2007 in Santa Monica, California, where a number of hotels and the Barker Hangar will host press conferences, smaller meetings, and gameplay demos, the Entertainment Software Association announced today.

In late July, the ESA stirred game developers, press, and gamers alike when it announced that E3 -- a massive yearly games convention which had become an institution in the industry -- would be overhauled. Rather than the boisterous, crowded, Vegas-like affair it had become, the ESA said it would now offer a significantly more intimate, invitation-only event. The new E3 focuses specifically on game developers, retailers, and the press

three days into Ubuntu Linux

This is day three of my new Operating System Experience which I'm running Ubuntu Linux. So far everything has been fine. Just have very confuse lately with OS and all these terms that Linux uses. Which I'm working on getting use to. I just had some major problems getting Java Running right. Which has been a nail in my head these past two days. I just wish whenever Ubuntu does another upgrade of there OS they put it in there. So you wouldn't have to go through no hassles of getting Java and the other browsers working. Also I cannot believe that Flash does not work!!! Well other than those two things I have been very please. It has ran great on my computer and I dont have to worry about any security issues or any major viruses out there. Which is a great two thumbs up!! If you are looking for a great and so far I have to say this Stable Operating System Ubuntu Linux will be for you!! Check it out. Or even run the Live CD which you download. Until next time I talk to you all later. Going to play around with the Themes and listen to some podcast segments I listen to on a daily basis. Talk to you later.

Just Installed Ubuntu Linux

I have been wanting and trying to get a Linux OS, and Finally I ran into a Linux Distro called "Ubuntu" and this is the first Company and Operating System where they sent me a CD by the mail. So bascially a couple of weeks later I got my copy! WOW!!! Then what I did was I looked at the cd and figured out what to do. Should I install this Linux Distro and give it a shot or should I have the cds sit in my desk and not put it to use. The reason why I wanted to use Linux so bad because I heard so many great things about Linux and how great it was to work with. Also with the open source part of it as well. Also how much it has been growing up and working so well

Day One!!!

Today has been my first day of ChaCha as a Search Guide and all I have to say is WOW!!! Things have been great so far, faxed over all my paper work and so far everything has been flowing right.

Also I woke up today and felt that I should think of something new. So I decided to bring my blog in to the Internet and try to expand my Blog and site to people all over the world. So I decided to put on Google Ads. Now I have read serveral sites on how to bring money and content to your site and they say they watched it grow in matter of months. So I found it interesting and will like to give it try. So you might see some minor changes to site where I will have some ads of serveral things from Video Games to Apartments for Rent. Hope it does not bother you any of you. I will like to see how this works and see when I have it up for the next four months. Also being that I have been on top of my blog and site will it bring some content and money in. I dont know! But alot of people said it has. So lets see. LOL

Is Control the Future of Gaming Innovation?

Wii Bite off????

Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the great complaint leveled by both gamers and the press at the videogame industry was lack of innovation in gameplay. Especially towards the end of the PS1 life-cycle, most games were derivatives of established genres, and incremental improvements were the rule of the day. Grand Theft Auto 3 and GTA: Vice City broke open the "sandbox" genre and were heralded for breathing new life into stagnant design. Other innovative hits have followed over the years since then, and off-the-wall concepts like Katamari Damacy and more recently Loco Roco have demonstrated that artistic-design can have just as much an innovating impact as revolutionary new gameplay mechanics. Innovation is by no means dead, but if the latter game examples are any indication, designers may well be turning to mind-expanding substances in order to think of anything new

Doom Reviews for Xbox 360

After id Software's Castle Wolfenstein 3-D introduced people to first-person shooters, Doom rocked the world with its ferocious gore, humor, and adrenaline-generating gameplay. The shareware PC game took off like a rocket and found itself on PCs everywhere. That was 1993. It's now 2006, 13 years later, and Doom just has been released for the skur-billionth time, only now on Xbox Live Arcade.

What does this mean for you? For one, it's moderately priced at $10. If you already didn't buy Doom 3 of Xbox (which had Doom 1 and Doom 2 bundled with it) or swipe it illegally off some mime site. Thus, the only reasons to even think about buying Doom are for its split screen co-op and multiplayer modes, and of course, the 200 achievement points. Is it worth it

At Microsoft's X06, Bill Gates' videogame division showed off a wealth of first- and second-party games ranging from Mass Effect to Viva Pinata, but perhaps more telling of the burgeoning system's growing success was the plethora of substantial third-party titles.

Unlike the early Xbox, the Xbox 360 commands solid third-party support from American, European, and Japanese developers and publishers. In playable form at the show, these games appeared
